Currently studying at Parsons School of Design, Heewon is based in New York and has previously lived in Paris, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and Switzerland. She is originally from Korea.
Heewon's designs reflect the aesthetics and objects found in the cultures she was surrounded by. While her major is in fashion design, she has various interests within the arts such as film, styling, editorial, merchandizing and entrepreneurship. As a result of having been in contact with a diversity of people and culture, she is invested in systems-thinking that address societal issues. This drives her passion for design.
